Hi Stauffer Researchers,
I am going through some pages I coped at the Mennonite Society and found out that Wilfred Ludwig Stauffer and Magdalena Straussburger had TWO sons named Wilfred Ludwig Stauffer. The first one was called Wilfred Ludwig Stauffer II and he was born July 29, 1883 and died January 5th 1885. Then the second Wilfred Ludwig Stauffer, Jr. was born October 29, 1893 and died Jun 16 1929. He served in World War I as a Sergeant First Class in the Aviation Corps with the 7th Aero Squadron.
Just wanted to see if you guys knew that too!Jeanne

The "Diary of Hans Stauffer" was once possessed by Wilfred Ludwid Stauffer, Sr., per "History of Montgomery County"by Clifton S. This article has Henry Stauffer and Maria Buckwalter being married in 1770 That means they were 55 when they married, yet the kids were born in the 5os and 60s??Also, it lists her mother as being a Buckwalter too. Were her parents related to each other?
